Low Volume Waste Committee

The USWAG Low Volume Waste Committee provides technical and regulatory support and counseling on member-specific waste issues, including used oil, mixed waste, Universal Wastes, treated wood, emerging renewable resources waste streams, treated wood, land disposal restrictions, and other RCRA issues. The committee also tracks developments in chemical security regulations, including the U.S. EPA’s Risk Management Plan regulations. The committee provides the following services:

  • A forum for member companies to interface with their peer utilities and EPA representatives
  • Tracking of regulatory and legislative activities and, at times, development and submittal of stakeholder input and/or comments
  • Compliance support and legal counseling on specific matters member companies may face
  • Development of training materials based on member needs.
