The Call for Speakers for the Decommissioning Workshop is available here.

The Call for Speakers for the PFAS Workshop is no longer available.  That call closed on January 17, 2025.

Schedule

The Decommissioning and PFAS Workshops will be held back to back over the course of 3 days, giving you the opportunity to attend one event or both. As detailed below, the schedule includes a meeting of the USWAG R&R Committee:

  • A members-only meeting of USWAG's Remediation and Response Committee will be held the morning of Tuesday, May 20.
  • The Decommissioning Workshop will be held the afternoon of Tuesday, May 20 and the morning of Wednesday, May 21.  The Decommissiong Workshop will include a networking reception the evening of Tuesday, May 20.
  • The PFAS Workshop will be held the faternoon of Wednesday, May 21 and all day on Thursday, May 22. The PFAS Workshop will include a networking reception the evening of Wednesday, May 21.

USWAG’s Decommissioning Inaugural PFAS Workshop will address a range of PFAS technical and regulatory issues that electric and gas utilities may face in connection with site assessment and remediation, real estate transactions, decommissioning and demolition projects, and day-to-day operations.

* Guest registration is limited to spouse, family, or significant others. It is not to be used for work colleagues.

** Please note, this is an in-person only event.  There will be no option for remote participation by speakers or delegates at any of the sessions.

Affiliates

As a part of the registration fee for USWAG Affiliates, you will have the opportunity to exhibit and sponsor at the Workshop. Please select that option when registering online. Information regarding shipping details and setup for table-top exhibit materials will be emailed approximately two weeks out from the Workshop.

Sponsorship opportunities include meal functions, breaks, Wi-Fi, raffle drawings, etc.

Refund Policy

Full refunds will be given up until two weeks before the workshop minus a $50 processing fee. No refunds will be given after May 6, 2025. Substitutions will be permitted.
