Ash Management & Solid Waste Committee

The USWAG Ash Subcommittee is responsible for addressing utility-specific matters related to the management and disposal of CCR, including regulatory developments from EPA and other agencies. The committee provides the following services:

  • A forum for member companies to interface with their peer utilities, environmental professionals, and EPA staff.
  • Tracking of regulatory and legislative activities and, at times, development and submittal of stakeholder input and/or comments.
  • Compliance support and legal counseling on specific matters member companies may face.
  • Annual CCR Workshop supported by affiliates and ad hoc webinars.
